The MCP434X/436X series includes a quad digital potentiometer with a 5kOc end-to-end resistance, packaged in a TSSOP-14 format. It features a 7-bit or 8-bit resolution with 128 or 256 resistive taps, respectively. The device supports both potentiometer and rheostat configurations, allowing for versatile applications. It operates within a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and has a low wiper resistance of 75Oc (typical). The MCP434X/436X also includes non-volatile memory for automatic recall of wiper settings and features such as SPI serial interface, write protection, and a wide operating temperature range from -40¬8C to +125¬8C. The device is suitable for applications requiring precise resistance adjustments and can be used in split rail configurations.
