The MCP4021 is a non-volatile digital potentiometer available in a 5-pin TSOP package. It features a simple Up/Down (U/D) serial interface for wiper control and offers 64 taps with resistance values of 2.1 kOc, 5 kOc, 10 kOc, or 50 kOc. The device operates within a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and has a low static current consumption of 1 ¬µA maximum. It incorporates WiperLock,Ñ¢ technology, allowing the wiper setting to be saved in EEPROM, ensuring that the last setting is recalled upon power-up. The MCP4021 is designed for a wide temperature range of -40¬8C to +125¬8C and has a low wiper resistance of 75Oc.
