It operates with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 42V and supports both quasi-resonant and fixed-frequency operation, with a fixed switching frequency adjustable from 31.25 kHz to 2.0 MHz. This controller features low quiescent and sleep currents, making it suitable for energy-efficient applications. It includes low-side gate drivers capable of providing up to 1A sink/source current, and it employs peak current mode control for improved regulation. The MCP19115-E/MQ is AEC-Q100 qualified, ensuring reliability in automotive applications. Configurable parameters include input undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, primary current leading edge blanking, and programmable GPIO options. The integrated low-side differential current sense amplifier allows for ±5% current regulation, and thermal shutdown protection enhances safety during operation.
