The MCP1603LT-080I/OS is a high-efficiency synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering up to 500 mA of output current. The device features a typical efficiency exceeding 90% and incorporates a low quiescent current of 45 µA in Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode, which is automatically engaged during light load conditions to conserve battery life. The MCP1603LT-080I/OS supports adjustable output voltages from 0.8V to 4.5V, as well as fixed output voltage options of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. It operates at a fixed frequency of 2.0 MHz under heavy load conditions, ensuring low noise and minimal output ripple. Additional features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overtemperature protection, and 100% duty cycle operation.
