The LM2574YN is a buck switching regulator from Quarktwin Technology Ltd. designed for ease of use with minimal external components. It is available in fixed output versions of 3.3V and 5V, as well as an adjustable version that can output voltages ranging from 1.23V to 37V, with a guaranteed output voltage accuracy of ¬±4% under specified conditions. This regulator can supply up to 0.5A while maintaining good line and load regulation. The LM2574YN operates with a wide input voltage range of up to 40V and features built-in protections such as thermal shutdown and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. It has a low standby current of less than 200¬µA and typically does not require heat sinks due to its high efficiency.
