The HCS500/P is a code hopping decoder designed for secure Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) systems, utilizing KEELOQ technology for enhanced security. The device operates within a voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V and features an internal oscillator and automatic bit rate detection, making it adaptable to various transmitter data rates. This decoder can function as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with a microcontroller, and it communicates via a synchronous serial interface.
