The device operates within a voltage range of 2.05-5.5V and supports six button inputs with 15 available functions. It offers four selectable baud rates and includes a battery low signal feature. This encoder utilizes KEELOQ® code hopping technology, which enhances security by generating a hopping code through a nonlinear encryption algorithm. The HCS370T/SL is equipped with an on-chip EEPROM for storing crypt keys and configuration data, which is read protected to prevent unauthorized access.
