The CL7SG-G is a constant-current linear LED driver designed to provide 100 mA output with a tolerance of ¬±5%. It operates from nominal power supply voltages of 12V, 24V, and 48V, with a maximum voltage rating of 90V for transient immunity, eliminating the need for additional protection circuitry. The device features built-in reverse polarity protection and overtemperature protection, which activates when the die temperature exceeds 135¬8C, resuming normal operation below 105¬8C. The driver includes a logic-level enable input for on/off control and PWM dimming capabilities, with a pull-down resistance of 100 k,Ѷ. It is packaged in an 8-lead SOIC format with a heat slug, making it suitable for applications such as flashlights, specialty lighting, low-voltage signage, and low-voltage lighting. The recommended operating conditions allow for a supply voltage range of 6.5V to 90V, with output voltage capabilities from 4V to 90V.
