With a revolutionary adaptive-sensing architecture that features both mutual- and self-capacitance, it enables the highest performance with the industry's lowest power consumption. With 640 nodes, the mXT640T touchscreen controller supports up to 8 inches for Android tablets, 7 inches for Windows 8 mobile devices, and up to 6.2 inches for devices with 1.5mm passive stylus. Support: off the shelf maXTouch standard modules are available to help shorten development time and reduce risk. Microchip also has a strong selection of factory trained global touch sensor module partners to help support custom touch sensor and/or touchscreen display designs.
