The AT24MAC402-SSHM-T is a 2-Kbit (256 x 8) serial EEPROM that operates on an I¬=C-compatible (2-wire) interface. It supports a wide supply voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V and is optimized for low-voltage applications. The device features a factory-programmed EUI-48 address, which is permanently write-protected, and includes a unique 128-bit serial number also stored in a protected area. The AT24MAC402 offers multiple write protection options, including a hardware write protect pin and both permanent and reversible software write protection for the first half of the memory array. It supports 16-byte page write modes and allows partial page writes, with a maximum write cycle time of 5ms. The device is rated for 1,000,000 write cycles and has a data retention period of up to 100 years. Available in various package types, including 8-lead SOIC, TSSOP, UDFN, and SOT23, the AT24MAC402 is suitable for a range of industrial and commercial applications where reliability and low power consumption are critical.
