The AR1021-I/ML is a resistive touch screen controller from the AR1000 series by Lingto Electronic Limited. It supports both I¬=C and SPI communication protocols and operates within an industrial temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. The device features a 10-bit touch resolution and can report touch coordinates at a rate of 140 reports per second, depending on the connected touch sensor. It is designed to work with 4-wire, 5-wire, and 8-wire analog resistive touch sensors, with a typical lead-to-lead resistance of 50-2,000Oc. Power requirements include an operating voltage of 2.5-5.0V and a standby current of 85 ¬µA at 5V. The controller incorporates a built-in drift compensation algorithm and offers 128 bytes of user EEPROM for calibration storage. Additional features include a power-saving sleep mode and various touch modes such as Off, Stream, Down, and Up.
