The MCP90N06Y is an N-channel MOSFET using Split Gate Trench technology for fast switching and soft recovery, housed in a TO-220AB(H) package with dimensions of 4.37-4.77mm (A), 1.25-1.45mm (B), 6.25-6.85mm (C), 15.10-16.10mm (D), 9.70-10.30mm (E), 8.80-9.40mm (F), 2.60-3.00mm (G), 2.20-2.60mm (H), 3.40mm (J), 1.17-1.47mm (K), 0.70-0.95mm (L), 5.08mm (M), 2.54mm (N), 12.75-13.80mm (O), 3.40-3.80mm (P), and 0.40-0.65mm (Q). It has a drain-source voltage rating of 60V, continuous drain current of 90A at 25°C, and power dissipation of 83W. The device meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, is RoHS compliant, and operates from -55°C to +150°C junction temperature. Thermal resistance is 1.5°C/W junction to case and 40°C/W junction to ambient. The part includes a halogen-free "green" design per <900ppm bromine and chlorine limits.
