Since 1987, MFG Wind has been involved in manufacturing nacelles, and supporting OEMs with issues such as improved durability, increased safety, and modifications to improve transportability.
One example of how we create value for customers is transforming two or three-piece nacelle designs into segmented versions that make transportation easier and reduce costs.
Nacelle tooling is built in-house at MFG Wind, with engineered-in features that can increase productivity and reduce costs. Careful use of materials allows for better durability and lighter weight. Value-added assembly of insulation, hardware, catwalks, safety rails, hatches/access doors, plumbing and electrical components can further reduce fabrication cost.
MFG Wind has three factories in North America producing various size and types of nacelles, with the ability to bring other facilities online to meet regional delivery requirements.
In addition to manufacturing new nacelles, MFG Wind also provides aftermarket support.
