The MLX90621 is a compact 16x4 pixel infrared (IR) array sensor designed for non-contact temperature measurement. It operates within a temperature range of -40¬8C to 85¬8C for ambient sensing and -50¬8C to 300¬8C for object temperature detection. The device features a factory calibration with calibration parameters stored in EEPROM, ensuring accurate readings. It utilizes an I2C compatible digital interface for easy integration and supports a programmable frame rate from 0.5Hz to 512Hz, allowing flexibility in balancing speed and accuracy.
