The 787F General Purpose Integral Cable Accelerometer from Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies features a sensitivity of 100 mV/g with a tolerance of ¬±5% at 25¬8C. It has an acceleration range of up to 80 g peak and a frequency response of 1 to 5,000 Hz (¬±10%) and 0.5 to 10,000 Hz (¬±3 dB). The device operates within a temperature range of -50¬8C to +120¬8C and is designed to withstand a vibration limit of 500 g and a shock limit of 5,000 g. This accelerometer utilizes a PZT ceramic shear sensing element and has a resonance frequency of 22 kHz. It is hermetically sealed and constructed from 316L stainless steel, making it suitable for submerged applications up to 30 ft. The accelerometer is powered by a voltage source of 18 to 30 VDC and requires a current of 2 to 10 mA. It includes a 16 ft. integral cable with a blunt cut and is supplied with a captive hex head screw and calibration data.
