The HX5100-280M is an electronic phase shifter designed for use in matched pairs with Holzworth HA7000 Series Phase Noise Analyzers to automate additive/residual phase noise measurements. It operates within a frequency range of 187 MHz to 375 MHz, with a phase shift range greater than 180 degrees, and handles an input power of up to 25 dBm into a 50Ω impedance. Additive phase noise is specified at -175 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset. It is controlled by a 0 to +12.5 VDC signal, with a damage threshold of +15 VDC. The device uses SMA plug (male) RF connectors and an SMA jack (female) DC connector. It is RoHS compliant and manufactured in the USA.
The HX5100 Series Electronic Phase Shifters are sold individually but are designed to be used in pairs with the Maury HA7000 Series Phase Noise Analyzers. These phase shifters are frequency specific and allow for full automation of additive/residual phase noise measurements with the Maury test systems while maintaining the ANSI z540 calibration.
