Matexcel Dextran Sulfate Sodium NAT-310

Description
Dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) is a sulfated polysaccharide with variable molecular weights. Administration of DSS causes human ulcerative colitis-like pathologies due to its toxicity to colonic epithelial cells, which results in compromised mucosal barrier function. Storage: Store at room temperature. Application: Dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) is used to induce intestinal inflammation in experimental animals. Product overview: This product can be used in the studies on dextran sulfate for inducing colitis in experimental animals. Recommend concentration of dinking water is 2-4% for mouse and 3.5-5% for rat. pH: 5.0-6.5
