Due to the portable cross-linking molding method and good biocompatibility, ChSMA-based material systems have been widely used in many biomedical research fields, including: osteoarthritis treatment, articular cartilage repair, skull repair, etc. ChS molecules are rich in easily modified carboxyl and hydroxyl groups, which can be used to construct a variety of biomaterials, such as nano-drug carriers and bioadhesives for the diagnosis and treatment of tumors.
