Materion Microelectronics & Services has developed proprietary techniques to manipulate the crystal orientation and grain structure of our ferromagnetic targets. This has the effect to optimize the PTF of these ME™ grade targets to allow customers to sputter magnetic materials at an increased thickness, and increase the deposition rate at the original thickness.
