Alloy 165 by Materion Brush Performance Alloys contains less beryllium than Alloy 25 , which in its age hardened condition attains the highest strength and hardness of any commercial copper base alloy. Alloy 165 also has slightly less strength than Alloy 25. The alloy is also less expensive than Alloy 25 and may be substituted when strength is less demanding.
