Master Bond, Inc. Toughened, two component epoxy for bonding, sealing and coating Supreme 34AO

Description
Key Features Convenient handling Good temperature resistance Can withstand thermal cycling Thermally conductive & electrically insulative Product Description Master Bond Supreme 34AO is a two component, thermally conductive, electrically insulating epoxy system that can be used as an adhesive, sealant or coating. The mix ratio is a forgiving 100 to 70 by weight or one to one by volume. This high viscosity system cures readily in 2-3 days at ambient temperatures or more rapidly at elevated temperatures. The optimum cure schedule is overnight at room temperature followed by 2-4 hours at 150-200°F. Upon curing, Supreme 34AO has good dimensional stability along with very low shrinkage (<0.1%). This epoxy bonds well to many different substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, rubbers and plastics. It is well suited for bonding dissimilar substrates and resisting rigorous thermal cycling. Supreme 34AO has good chemical resistance to water, fuels, oils and cleaning agents. Some other noteworthy properties include a low coefficient of thermal expansion and high compressive strength. The service temperature range is from -80°F to +425°F. The color of Part A is gray and Part B is off-white. Its favorable blend of properties makes it a good candidate for specialty aerospace, electronic and OEM type applications, where the product property profile mentioned above is desirable. Product Advantages Non-critical mix ratios by weight or volume Good thermal conductivity while retaining electrical insulation Excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates Very low shrinkage and high dimensional stability Well suited for bonding dissimilar substrates
