Tampico Fiber Sections, Untreated and Treated UNTREATED (Standard) Tampico fibers are naturally soft. Untreated Tampico brushes are especially suited for use on very irregular or contoured surfaces requiring extreme flexibility. They can be used dry for dusting, cleaning or removal of surface particles. They also work well with abrasive compound on lighter operations. Only the finest grade of Tampico obtainable is used in these brushes. TREATED The Tampico fibers are treated with a special material to give them more stiffness and to allow them to hold abrasive compound. When used with abrasive compositions, brushes made with these fibers can remove small burrs, blend tool marks and other surface blemishes, break sharp edges, and improve general surface appearance.
