Reflective Sensors are devices that contain both the emitter and photo detector functions within a single package. Emitted light from the sensor is reflected back to the detector side as an object enters the sensing area. This series is ideally suited for applications including edge sensing, line sensing, coin bill validation, bar code reading and card readers. Standard Photo Reflectors are offered in a compact high reliability 4mm plastic packages with a wavelength range from 468nm to 950nm and optimal operational distance is 0.5mm-1.5mm. Custom emitter and detectors are available.
