MACOM Special Purpose Amplifiers M02045G-2Y01-T

The M02045G-2Y01-T is a high-gain limiting amplifier designed for fiber optic communication applications up to 200 Mbps. It is typically used following a photodetector and transimpedance amplifier to provide the necessary gain for PECL compatible logic outputs. The device features a programmable signal-level detector that allows users to set thresholds for enabling logic outputs, along with a signal detect function that includes 2 dB of hysteresis to prevent chatter at low input levels. This amplifier operates with a supply voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V, with a typical supply current of 12.5 mA at 3.3 V. It offers complimentary PECL data and signal detect logic outputs, as well as an output disable function (JAM) that turns off the output when no input signal is detected.
