Cryo-lite® Fiberglass Blankets are made of high quality fine fibers bonded with a melamine resin and specifically designed to meet the unique insulation needs of cryogenic tank manufacturers. Cryo-lite is suitable for applications with temperatures ranging from -450°F (-268°C) to +450°F (+232°C) Excellent stability - will not settle or compact in over-the-road service Exhibits low thermal conductivity Lightweight and low density - as much as eight times lighter than porous insulations such as perlite Virtually no outgassing under typical cryogenic vacuum and temperature conditions Maximum thermal protection with minimum weight - allows transport companies to trade insulation weight for larger payloads Oxygen compatible - certified to meet US DOT testing requirement MC-338 Easy to install and handle - can be cut to fit between tank supports Enables fast pumpdown times
