The TCSGAA is a self-powered current monitoring relay for go/no-go detection of alternating current, with an adjustable actuation range of 2-20A and a normally open solid-state output capable of sinking or sourcing current to directly interface with PLC digital inputs. It operates without external power, provides complete isolation between the sensed conductor and control circuit, and is rated for 1A steady and 10A inrush load current with a DC voltage range of 3-50VDC. The unit features a toroidal sensor with a 0.36 in. (9.14 mm) hole for up to #4 AWG wire, encapsulated circuitry, and a compact surface-mount design measuring 50.8 mm × 50.8 mm × 44.5 mm. Termination is via two 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick-connect terminals, and it complies with a dielectric strength of ≥2000V RMS and insulation resistance of ≥100 MΩ. Operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C.
