The SE-105E is a ground-fault ground-check monitor for resistance-grounded systems, designed to protect portable equipment in underground mining applications with trailing cables up to 5 kV. It operates on 240 Vac input voltage, features adjustable ground-fault pickup settings of 0.5, 2.0, or 4.0 A, and a trip time delay range of 0.1 to 1.0 s. The device includes harmonic filtering to prevent false tripping, a fail-safe ground-check circuit, and conformal coating for harsh environments. It is CSA certified, UL Listed (E340889), and C-Tick compliant. Dimensions are 150 mm high, 109 mm wide, and 100 mm deep. It requires a CT200 series current transformer and includes a 1N5339B termination device.
The SE-105/SE-107 is a combination ground-wire monitor and ground-fault relay for resistance-grounded systems. It continuously monitors the integrity of the ground conductor to protect portable equipment from hazardous voltages caused by ground faults.
