The PHS230A6 is a single-function, solid-state relay for phase control of AC loads up to 6 A steady state and 60 A inrush at 230 V ac. It features surface mounting with one #10 (M5 x 0.8) screw, dimensions of 50.8 mm x 50.8 mm x 38.4 mm, and 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick connect terminals. The relay requires an external 200 kΩ, 2 W potentiometer rated for line voltage. It operates with a voltage drop of approximately 2.0 V at rated current, has a dielectric breakdown of at least 2000 V RMS, and is UL Recognized under File E57310. Units rated at 6 A must be bolted to a metal surface with heat sink compound, with a maximum mounting surface temperature of 90 °C. Operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to 60 °C.
