The PD2401 is an AC solid state relay with dual SCR outputs for optically isolated switching of AC loads up to 1 A rms at 240 V rms. It features zero-crossing detection, 3750 V rms input-to-output isolation, and a 4-pin DIP package with dimensions of 19.202 mm by 7.620 mm. The device has a 5 mA typical input control current, a 1.2 V rms on-state voltage drop, and a peak surge current rating of 20 A. It is UL Recognized and CSA Certified, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The OptoMOS® line of power products uses dual power SCR outputs to produce an alternative to optocoupler and Triac circuits. These switches provide a blocking voltage of up to 800V. In addition, tightly controlled zero-cross circuitry ensures switching of AC loads without the generation of transients. The input and output circuits are optically coupled to provide up to 5000Vrms of isolation and noise immunity between control and load circuits.
