The MSM30.7W6 is a solid-state delay-on-make time delay relay with a fixed 0.7s delay, designed for 24VDC operation and available with standard wire leads of 6.0 inches (152.4 mm). It offers immediate reset upon power removal, operates with no moving parts, and is encapsulated for protection against shock, vibration, and humidity. The relay provides a normally open output with a maximum load current of 0.5A at 25°C and 0.25A at 60°C, and maintains a voltage drop of approximately 2.5V at 0.5A. It is rated for operation from -20°C to 60°C and storage from -30°C to 85°C, with 95% non-condensing humidity tolerance. Mounting is via wire leads with a removable bracket.
The MSM replaces bi-metal type timing with reliable solid-state circuitry. There are no moving parts to arc or wear. It is a cost effective solution for OEM designers. It is available for printed circuit board mounting or surface mounting with a removable bracket and wire leads. The MSM offers immediate reset on removal of power. Operation (Delay-on-Make)The time delay begins upon application of input voltage. The output is de-energized before and during the time delay. At the end of the time delay, the output energizes and remains energized until input voltage is removed.Reset: Removing input voltage resets the time delay and output.
