The M1000 is an alarm monitor designed for versatile alarm management with 10 digital inputs that support both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts. When triggered, it activates corresponding LEDs, a common alarm output, a siren output, and individual outputs for each input. The device features distinct indicators for first alarms, subsequent alarms, and acknowledged alarms, enhancing clarity in alarm situations. This unit can be interconnected with multiple M1000 devices to create a scalable alarm system, allowing for synchronized LED flashing and global first alarm indications. It includes dedicated inputs for remote reset and blocking, and can be configured for cable monitoring as well as monitoring its own supply and insulation levels. Configuration is facilitated through 18 programming switches or via an RS232 interface, with a standard ANSI/VT100 terminal used for programming. The M1000 supports RS485 communication with MODBUS-RTU, making it compatible with HMI and SCADA systems. It operates within a voltage range of 12-24 Vdc or 48-110 Vdc, with a maximum power consumption of 180 mA. The device is rated for ambient temperatures from -10¬8C to +70¬8C and is type-approved by marine classification societies, indicating its suitability for harsh environments. The M1000 is compact, with dimensions of 144 mm x 144 mm x 35 mm and an IP54 protection rating at the front.
