Littelfuse, Inc. Bidirectional normally open outputs LAA110L

Description
The OptoMOS® line of solid state relays uses discrete semiconductor components and the patented OptoMOS® architecture to deliver fast, reliable, bounce-free switching in a compact design. From small single-pole, 4-pin relays to multi-pole and multi-function devices, OptoMOS® products are an ideal solid state replacement for larger reed and electromechanical relays. Compared to these old electromagnetic technologies, our OptoMOS® relays offer significantly lower drive current, small package size, no susceptibility to magnetic interaction, and solid state reliability. All of these are key requirements for the design of today's complex, low-power, multi-channel products. The small 4-pin SOP relays combine our state-of-the-art double-molded, vertical-constructio n packaging with high performance to give you a reliable product with up to 20% savings in board space compared to other 4-pin SOP products. The dual-pole OptoMOS® relays combine two independent relays into a single 8-pin package, paving the way for designers to condense more functionality into a single component. Low Drive Current High Reliability Optically Isolated Input and Output No EMI or RFI generation Arc-Free with no Snubbing Circuits Machine-insertable and wave-solderable Ac–dc switching Current Limiting (Parts with "L" Suffix) FCC Compatible

Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The LAA110L is a dual normally open (1-Form-A) solid state relay with two independently controlled optically coupled MOSFET switches and integrated current limiting, designed for low-power switching applications. It is available in an 8-pin DIP package measuring 9.652 ± 0.381 mm in length and 7.620 ± 0.254 mm in width. The device supports a maximum load voltage of 350 V and a continuous load current of 120 mA rms DC, with a maximum on-resistance of 35 Ω at 120 mA. It provides 3750 V rms input/output isolation and complies with UL E76270, CSA 1175739, and TUV EN 62368-1 standards. Turn-on and turn-off times are both 3 ms maximum, and it requires a minimum input control current of 5 mA to activate the switches. The device operates from -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature and is not recommended for new designs.
