Littelfuse, Inc. Delay On Break Timer KSDB4190M

Description
The KSDB is designed for general purpose commercial and industrial applications where a small, cost effective, reliable solid-state timer is required. The factory calibration for fixed time delays is within 5% of the target time delay. The repeat accuracy, under stable conditions, is 0.5% of the selected time delay. This series is designed for popular AC and DC voltages. Time delays of 0.1 seconds to 1000 minutes are available in 6 ranges. The output is rated 1A steady and 10A inrush. The modules are totally solid state and encapsulated to protect the electronic circuitry. Operation (Delay-on-Break)Inpu t voltage must be applied before and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch, the output energizes. The time delay begins when the initiate switch is opened. The output remains energized during timing. At the end of the time delay, the output de-energizes. The output energizes if the initiate switch is closed when input voltage is applied.Reset: Reclosing the initiate switch during timing resets the time delay. Loss of input voltage resets the time delay and output.

The KSDB4190M is a delay-on-break time relay designed for general commercial and industrial use, featuring a solid-state output with 1A steady-state and 10A inrush current capability. It operates on 120VAC with a fixed time delay of 90 minutes. The module is totally encapsulated, providing protection against shock, vibration, and humidity. It has a compact surface-mount design measuring 50.8 mm tall, 50.8 mm wide, and 30.7 mm deep, with 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick-connect terminals. The timing accuracy has a factory calibration tolerance of ±5% and repeat accuracy of ±0.5% or 20ms, whichever is greater. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 60°C, and humidity tolerance is up to 95% non-condensing. The relay supports positive switching and is reverse polarity protected for DC operation. Weights approximately 68 g.
