The ECS40BC is a single-phase AC current sensor with a built-in toroidal core for over- or undercurrent protection in 120VAC circuits. It has an adjustable trip point of 0.5-5A and a trip delay of 0.5-50 seconds, with a 1-second sensing delay on startup. The unit features an isolated 10A SPDT relay output rated for 240VAC resistive loads and 1/2 hp at 250VAC. It is surface-mounted, measuring 88.9 mm high, 63.5 mm wide, and 44.5 mm deep, with 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) male quick-connect terminals. Input voltage tolerance is -20% to +10% at 50/60 Hz, and response time is ≤75ms. Encapsulated for protection against shock, vibration, and humidity, it offers ≥2500V RMS isolation and operates from -40°C to 60°C.
