The DCNEV250-MB is a high-current, high-voltage DC contactor relay rated for 250A continuous carry and 900VDC, designed for electric vehicle and industrial control applications. It features SPST NO main contacts, a 12-24V DC nominal coil voltage (9-36V DC working range), polarized load terminals, and an auxiliary circuit with SPST NO contact arrangement. The relay is sealed to IP67, uses M8 silver-plated copper terminals, and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It includes a coil economizer using PWM to reduce power consumption after energization. Mounting is via #10 bolts with a torque specification of 1.7-3.3 Nm. The device is UL recognized (File No. E510407) and manufactured under IATF16949 certification. The auxiliary contact is rated for 2A at 30VDC and 3A at 125VAC.
The DCNEV250 Series 900V 250A High-Voltage DC Contactor Relay is designed for electric vehicle (EV) and eMobility applications, including charging station, battery power supply, DC power control, circuit protection, and other switch control applications. The high-current, high-voltage relay can also be used in uninterruptible power supply and other electronic control systems.A coil economizer greatly reduces coil power and heating after the contactor is energized. Once the contactor is energized, it takes minimal coil power to keep the contacts closed due to Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) reducing the average power delivered by pulsing the electrical signal.This 250A relay also features a magnetic arc blowout design that dissipates electrical arc between the contacts within an IP67 sealed, gas-filled arc chamber.
