The DCNEV250-GB is a high-current, high-voltage DC contactor relay designed for electric vehicle and eMobility applications, rated for 250A continuous carry at 900VDC. It features SPST NO main contacts, polarized load terminals with M8 silver-plated copper connections, and a 48-72V DC nominal coil voltage (32-95V DC working range). The relay includes an auxiliary contact (1 Form B) rated for 2A at 30VDC and 3A at 125VAC, and incorporates a coil economizer using PWM to reduce holding power. It is sealed to IP67, has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and is mounted with #10 bolts at 1.7-3.3 Nm torque. The device is UL recognized under File No. E510407 and manufactured under IATF16949 certification.
The DCNEV250 Series 900V 250A High-Voltage DC Contactor Relay is designed for electric vehicle (EV) and eMobility applications, including charging station, battery power supply, DC power control, circuit protection, and other switch control applications. The high-current, high-voltage relay can also be used in uninterruptible power supply and other electronic control systems.A coil economizer greatly reduces coil power and heating after the contactor is energized. Once the contactor is energized, it takes minimal coil power to keep the contacts closed due to Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) reducing the average power delivered by pulsing the electrical signal.This 250A relay also features a magnetic arc blowout design that dissipates electrical arc between the contacts within an IP67 sealed, gas-filled arc chamber.
