The CPC1966YX8 is an AC solid state switch with dual power SCR outputs for rapid turn-on control of AC loads without zero-crossing. It is packaged in a 4-pin (8-pin body) power SIP package with dimensions of 10.16 mm × 5.08 mm. The device supports continuous load currents up to 3 A rms and blocking voltages up to 800 V. It features 3750 V rms isolation between input and output, a typical turn-on time of 20 µs, and 5 mA input current sensitivity. The part is UL recognized and CSA certified, with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
The OptoMOS® line of Rapid Turn-on AC Power utilize dual power SCR outputs and they provide blocking voltages of up to 800V. The input and output circuits are optically coupled to provide up to 5000VRMS of galvanic isolation and noise immunity between control and load circuits.
