The CPC1966B is an AC solid state relay with dual SCR outputs, designed for zero-cross switching of AC loads up to 3 A rms and 280 V rms, with an 800 V blocking voltage. It features 5000 V rms input/output isolation, 5 mA input sensitivity, and a 1000 V/µs minimum off-state dV/dt. The device is packaged in an 8-pin power SOIC with a recommended PCB footprint of 21.082 mm length and 10.160 mm width, and operates over an ambient temperature range of −40 to +85 °C. It meets UL 508 and EN IEC 62368-1 standards and is classified as MSL 1 for moisture sensitivity.
The OptoMOS® line of power products uses dual power SCR outputs to produce an alternative to optocoupler and Triac circuits. These switches provide a blocking voltage of up to 800V. In addition, tightly controlled zero-cross circuitry ensures switching of ac loads without the generation of transients. The input and output circuits are optically coupled to provide up to 5000Vrms of isolation and noise immunity between control and load circuits.
