The plugs consist of a N (Normal) version according to ISO 1185, generally used for standard applications, and a S (Supplementary) version according to ISO 3731 used for additional connections. The S version can be distinguished by its white coloring and by the different order of the contacts, preventing thus an incorrect connection to the N version. Standards: Conforms to ISO 1185 & ISO 3731 recommendations and standards Accepts all 7-pole sockets that conform to ISO 1185 & ISO 3731 Screw terminal versions are mainly intended for the replacement aftermarket Flat terminal versions are generally preferred by OEM harness manufacturers.
