The LSK389 is a monolithic dual N-channel JFET designed for ultra-low noise amplification in audio, instrumentation, and sensor applications. It is available in an SOIC-8L surface mount package. The device has a gate-to-source breakdown voltage of 40 V, a typical transconductance of 20 mS, and a noise voltage of 1.6 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz. The LSK389B variant has a drain-to-source saturation current range of 6.0 to 12.0 mA and a maximum gate-to-source offset voltage of 15 mV. It is RoHS compliant, with a maximum junction operating temperature of 150 °C and a continuous power dissipation of 400 mW at 25 °C. The device eliminates popcorn noise and provides tight IDSS matching for improved thermal tracking in low-voltage applications.
