Deflector nozzles are most typically used for spraying liquid. However, their design allows them to also be a good candidate for spraying compressed air or saturated steam. A solid stream of air is directed through the nozzle orifice where it strikes the deflector plate, which redirects the air off on an angle while at the same time providing some width to the spray. This allows this nozzle to be a good choice for any number of air spraying applications.
Deflector nozzles feature a precision machined deflector surface that produces a wide, flat spray pattern with uniform distribution and medium impact. The one-piece design resists clogging due to a large, unobstructed flow passage and round orifice. The spray droplets are in the medium size range.Lechler deflector nozzles can also be used to spray air and steam.Accessories:De
