Deflector nozzles are most typically used for spraying liquid. However, their design allows them to also be a good candidate for spraying compressed air or saturated steam. A solid stream of air is directed through the nozzle orifice where it strikes the deflector plate, which redirects the air off on an angle while at the same time providing some width to the spray. This allows this nozzle to be a good choice for any number of air spraying applications.
This one-piece nozzle assembly is designed to easily connect to any plastic Lechler TWISTLOC base. The TWISTLOC assembly is a quick disconnect system which allows a fast and easy connection of nozzles without tools. Just apply the nozzle to the base, give a quick turn, and the nozzle is connected. In this assembly, the PVDF nozzle orifice is permanently mounted in a PVDF TWISTLOC cap. This therefore only requires a two-piece assembly (TWISTLOC Flat Fan Tip and TWISTLOC base), rather than a three-piece assembly of a standard nozzle tip, a TWISTLOC cap, and a TWISTLOC base. Each nozzle assembly provides an even distribution of liquid.
