Whirling Nozzles made entirely from PTFE material combine maximum corrosion resistance with minimum weight and size. The rotating head uses a spread of solid stream nozzles which offer concentrated impact combined with rinsing action between individual streams. PTFE requires no outside lubrication and provides its own bearing surface for easy rotation. PTFE Whirlies come standard in either threaded or sanitary connections. Models with Tri-Clamp® connections are available upon request.PTFE Sanitary ConnectionsSanitary nozzle connections in CIP applications can not have threads because process fluid could get trapped within the threads and remain there between processings. Lechler's sanitary connection PTFE Whirlies come with either ¾" or 1" tube fittings into which an inlet tube or pipe fits, connected to the nozzle by an R-clip. Combined with the Whirlies' smooth finish, that makes these nozzles completely self-flushing and draining for CIP applications.
