The Magnalight LEDLB-40-M LED Light Bar offers high light output and good durability combined with versatile magnetic mounting system that provides convenience and secure attachment to vehicles, equipment and any flat metallic surface.. This IP67 rated LED light bar is waterproof to 1 meter and produces 7,200 lumens while drawing only 120 watts of power @10 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. This light can run on any voltage from 9 to 42 volts and provides a rugged and compact lighting solution that is ideal for use in marine environments, industrial and manufacturing applications such as machine vision system lighting, heavy equipment illumination, law enforcement, security and vehicle illumination. The LEDLB-40-M LED light bar from Magnalight produces a 1250' long by 200' wide light beam with 7,200 lumens of bright light while drawing only 120 watts @10 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Forty Edison Edixeon® Emitters containing CREE EZBright® three watt LEDs producing 180 lumens each are paired with high purity 10 degree optics to produce a tightly focused spot beam with limited spread or light spillage. We also offer optional floodlight versions with 35 degree optics to produce a wider beam spread and more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as work and area lights. These LED light bars are IP67 rated and waterproof to 1 meter, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding environments, conditions and applications. The entire Magnalight LEDLB series are constructed of extruded aluminum and feature aluminum housings, stainless steel hardware, rubber isolated mounts and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability against corrosion, impacts, waves, hard rains, sand and high winds. This particular fixture comes equipped with 4, 150lb grip magnetic bases and a 16 foot coil cord ending in a cigarette plug connector. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated Edison Edixeon® Emitters. The end result is more light and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours. Voltage Control: These units are able to monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LEDLB series light bars can operate on current ranging from 9 to 42VDC without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and stand alone applications such as those found on commercial boats, heavy equipment and vehicles where power systems don’t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical.
Durability: The LEDLB series of LED light bars from Magnalight offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand the rigors of demanding of environmental and operating conditions yet are lighter and smaller than our LEDLB-E series of extreme duty light bars. The LEDLB series is designed to provide a low profile, light weight, high performance light bar that can be mounted where other lights will not fit. These units can operate in temperatures of -40 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to 1 meter and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Edixeon® LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations contributing to these units 15.6Grms rating of vibration tolerance. Mounting: The 4-150lbs magnet mounting design on the LEDLB-40-M provides a total of 600 Lbs of grip and allows for easy fixture placement and removal. Each magnetic base has an adjustable hinge allowing easy angle adjustment of the light once positioned. This mounting system includes a 16 foot power cord with a cigarette plug connector which makes this unit ideal for vehicle and equipment lighting applications where the unit can simply be attached or removed as needed.
