The Magnalight LEDB-2 Single LED Strobing Beacon works on 12 to 48 volts DC, offers a choice of colors, and is equipped with a permanent mount configuration secure and durable mounting to flat surfaces. This compact, Generation 3 LED beacon contains an LED lamp assembly that produces 360° of brilliant light without the dark spots or uneveness of traditional incandescent beacon lights. This LED beacon is available in a choice of white, blue, amber or red colors, and includes a permanent mounting system via through holes and self tapping screws. This permanent mounting system provides maximum mounting security and reliable performance. This permanent mount LED beacon has triple, quad, double and fast single flash modes that flash at approximately 109 flashes per minute. This waterproof and shock resistant beacon has a black cast aluminum base that mounts with 3 self tapping screws and includes a gasket for positive sealing to the mounting surface. This unit contains a fully potted circuit board topped off with an LED assembly protected by a polycarbonite lens cover that is designed to efficiently distribute the flash over a 360 degree radius. The colors of this unit are produced by color specific LEDs rather than a colored lens. This increases the effectiveness and reliability of the unit as there is no chance of lens discoloration and no loss of output due to lens dissipation. This LED beacon draws less than 1/4 amps on 12 volts and can be operated with 12 to 48 volt DC current. Power and ground leads protrude from the base of this LED beacon to power the unit. Operator provides 16 AWG wire to power source (battery, fuse block, etc.) This unit generates a superior signal in an extremely small, durable package.
