Other Applications: home and building security (with AC/DC converter) Magnalight recently went out into the field to conduct a comparison between the Golight HID Strykers vs. the Halogen Stryker Models. In this photograph, the halogen Golight is illuminating a stretch of road about 5000 feet in length. The beam starts to go soft after about 750' or so. With the HID golights, the difference is noticeable. The light on this particular unit is just all around better quality, stays tighter for longer distances, and even illuminates the trees at the end of the road. The power of the HID is exceptionally more than the halogen, while consuming much less amps. The Golight HID Strykers measured to 5,331 feet. GOLIGHT REMOTE CONTROLLED LIGHT REMOTES: Golight Remote Control Type(s): Wireless. Radio based, 433 MHz (not infrared). No wiring required.
