Eccosorb AN is a lightweight, flexible polyurethane foam sheet designed for broadband microwave absorption. It reflects less than -17 dB of normal incident energy above specified frequencies when compared to a metal plate. The material is carbon-loaded and multilayered, making it suitable for various applications, including lining small test chambers, reducing crosstalk between antennas, and shadowing components in anechoic chambers. The product features a white front surface and a black back surface, with a maximum service temperature of 90¬8C (194¬8F) and a power handling capacity of 0.15 W/cm¬=. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, ensuring it meets environmental standards. Eccosorb AN is available in standard sheets measuring 61 cm x 61 cm (24,Äù x 24,Äù) and can be customized in size and configuration upon request. For optimal performance, the absorbers should be mounted on a metal surface, and the white face must face the signal to be attenuated. It is important to note that the material is not waterproof and should not be used in wet conditions unless a special moisture-resistant version is requested.
