Eccosorb SF is a thin, flexible, magnetically loaded resonant microwave absorber designed for free-space applications. It effectively reduces reflectivity in a narrow frequency band ranging from 1 to 26 GHz, achieving a reflectivity of -20 dB or less at the design frequency. The material is suitable for high power applications and features low outgassing properties. The typical properties include a maximum service temperature of 163¬8C (325¬8F), power handling of 0.2 W/cm¬=, and a Shore A hardness of 73. It has a density range of 2.4-4.5 g/cm¬=, tensile strength between 1.0-6.0 MPa, and elongation at break of 20-100%. The material can be used in various applications, such as lining radar nacelles, telecommunication antennas, and metal surfaces of vehicles to minimize radar signatures. Eccosorb SF is available in standard sheets measuring 305 x 305 mm (12,Äù x 12,Äù) and can be customized in thickness and shape to meet specific resonant frequency requirements. It is recommended to bond the absorber to a metallic surface for optimal performance, and it can be easily cut to fit various applications.
