The model TB8277 is a unique asynchronus fiber optic modem whose optical interface can operate in either point to point or ring (daisy chain) configurations and whose electrical interface can also operate in point to point or multi-drop configurations depending on the user selected interface. The electrical interface is switch selectable between RS232, RS422, and RS485. The TB8277 is supplied with a power cord for the DC input. An optional AC power adapter is available for installations where 12 VDC is not accessible.
