Planet's POE-TESTER is an easy to use PoE diagnostic adapter for network installers, company MIS and even home users to quickly identify the existence of Power over Ethernet on their network. It is designed to detect if IEEE 802.3af/at PoE voltage is running over your UTP cable, and you can use a short patch cord to test PoE ports on devices directly. The POE-TESTER has two simple LEDs one orange & one green that light up to identify 3 different possible PoE states, Mid-span 802.3af/at, End-span 802.3af/at as well as detecting a 4-pair 60-Watt PoE Injector.
